Diriliş: Ertuğrul (English: “Resurrection: Ertuğrul”) is a Turkish historical fiction and adventure television series that is created by Mehmet Bozdağ, and is starring Engin Altan Düzyatan in the title role (Ertuğrul). It was filmed in Riva that is a village in the Beykoz district of Istanbul, Turkey, and premiered on TRT 1 in Turkey on December 10, 2014. The show is based on the history of the Muslim Oghuz Turks and takes place in the 13th century. It centers around the life of Ertuğrul, who was the father of Osman I, who was the founder of the Ottoman Empire. It has been well received, particularly in the Muslim world.
Diriliş: Ertuğrul consists of a total of 5 Seasons with 26 episodes in Season 1, 35 episodes in Season 2, 30 episodes in Season 3, 30 episodes in Season 4, and 29 episodes in Season 5.
